About me:
My name is Shelly Robertson and I am a skier. I started skiing when I was three years old and skied with my family until I was 15, at which time I joined the Squaw Valley Freestyle and started competing. At the age of 19 I made the U.S. Ski Team and am currently in my 9th year on the team. This year I had my first World Cup victory and feel like I'm skiing the best of my career. Obviously it is my goal to keep the momentum from this year and carry it into 2010 for the Olympics in Vancouver, BC. I want to win a Gold Medal and I'm going to give it everything I have to achieve this goal.
Along with competing in moguls I also possess a sincere passion for big mountain skiing. Whenever I'm not traveling on the World Cup circuit I have my fat skis on and am skiing as fast as I can possibly go. My favorite places to ski include Squaw Valley and the big mountains of Alaska. I want to continue to push myself in the world of Big Mountain Skiing and compete whenever I have the opportunity.
