Entry Speed: 140 mph (Citabria)
                       140 mph (Decathlon)

1. Pick out a section line of the
ground.

2. Dive for 140 mph entry speed
(Reduce throttle as necessary to
maintain 2500 rpm)

3. Pull Elevator ( 3 to 3 ½ g’s)

4.Add Full Power

5.Look out Left Wing

6.When about 20 degrees from inverted,
Easy Push to round out the top of
the loop. (0 – ½g’s / 80 mph)

7.Look over the nose

8.Pull Elevator, easy at first

9.Steadily Reduce Power to maintain no
more than 2500 rpm

10.Pull to the Horizon

11. Neutralize Elevator input when
exactly level.

Right Rudder, if needed for P factor, to
hold heading

Left rudder, as needed to hold heading





Check Tach / RPM before adding power

                        50 - 55 mph (Decathlon)

1. Power - Idle

2. Aileron - Neutral

3. Entry Speed - recommended

4. Rudder - Full Left or Right

5. Elevator - Full Back

Recovery:

6. Power -Confirm Idle

7. Aileron - Confirm Neutral

8. Rudder - Full Opposite

9. Elevator - Neutral

Spin Over:

10. Rudder - Neutral

11.Elevator - Pull to horizon

Primary (Aileron) Roll

Entry Speed: 120 mph (Citabria)
                        120 mph (Decathlon)

1. Pick a point in front of the
airplane

2. Airspeed - Recommended entry
speed RPM set at 2500.

3. Pull nose up 20 to 30 degrees
above the horizon, stop

4. Apply full left or right aileron

5. As you approach knife edge, apply
small forward pressure to hold the
nose on your point. (Easy Push
towards your knee)

6. Hold Full Aileron

7. As you pass inverted, relax the
forward pressure (Easy Pull)

8. Apply more and more rudder as
you return to upright

9. Hold full Aileron until wings are level.

10. When wings are exactly level,
neutralize the aileron and rudder.









Look
over the nose at the
point on the horizon

No need to adjust throttle again unless you fall out of the roll with the nose well below the horizon.



Soft left or right rudder in the same direction as aileron













If nose is very low below horizon, reduce power
